Navigate to X-Currency > Global Settings > General

Round Prices to Whole Numbers

Toggle this option on to display all prices as whole numbers (e.g., $10 instead of $10.99) or off to show full prices with cents. Ideal for a cleaner, simplified pricing display.

Remove Currency Data from URLs

Toggle this option on to remove the currency parameter from URLs, making links cleaner and more user-friendly, or off to keep the full URL intact.

Then hit the “Save Changes” Button. 

• Welcome Currency 

This option lets you set an initial currency for users, either automatically by their location or as a fixed currency, enhancing their shopping experience.

How to Configure:

1. Go to the Welcome Currency section in your settings.
   
2. Choose a Currency Type from the dropdown:
   
   • Based on Geo IP – Automatically assigns currency according to the user’s location.
     
   • Fixed Currency – Uses a single currency for all users, regardless of location.

3. Click Save to apply your selection.

• Checkout Page Currency

This setting allows you to set a specific currency for the checkout page. You can force the checkout to use a chosen currency, either globally or conditionally based on the customer’s country.

Options:

• Enable Checkout Currency – Toggle to turn the feature on or off.
  
• Currency – Select the currency for checkout (e.g., United States Dollar).
  
• Specific Country – Toggle to apply the currency rule only for a chosen country.
  
• Country – Select the country when the specific country option is enabled (e.g., Albania).
  
• Save Changes – Save and apply your configuration.

Example:
If enabled with Currency: USD and Country: Albania, only customers from Albania will see checkout prices in USD.

• Rate Auto Update 

Automatically updates currency exchange rates at set intervals.

Options:

• Enable Auto Update: Toggle to activate/deactivate automatic updates.

• Update Interval: Enter the numeric value for the update frequency.

• Interval Type: Select the time unit (e.g., minutes, hours, days).

• Save Changes: Finally, hit the “Save Changes” Button. 

• Approximate Price Settings

Configure estimated prices based on a selected or automatic currency type to display values in the user’s preferred currency.

Fields:

• Approximate Currency Type: Choose currency type (default: Auto, based on user location).

Enable Approximate Product Prices: Toggle to show estimated prices for individual products in the user’s currency.

• Enable Approximate Cart and Checkout Prices: Toggle to display estimated totals for cart and checkout in the user’s currency.

• Save Changes: Click on the “Save Changes” button. 

• Extra Fee

The Extra Fee option allows you to add an additional charge to the cart total. You can also display a custom message in the cart to explain the applied fee.
